Ch 3 John Barger - Nate Ungrodt

Honestly I am going to agree with what the majority of the class said about this one.  This was terribly, horribly repetitive and boring.  Who cares who blogged first?  The point is that this crazy media we call the internet allows us to communicate with each other immediately, publicly, and freely, across the globe -- as a collective community; a human culture.  All those individuals at the forefront of issues as they emerge, filming and photographing and writing and posting...  One person should never take sole credit for the 'rise of the blog', or even the 'rise of the internet'.  It took an entire world of people to embrace it, and make it into the phenomenon that it is today.
