Turns out that Foxconn has consented to decrease the number of hours their employees are required to work. They will not be allowed to work over the Chinese legal maximum of 49 hours per week. At the same time, the workers will continue to receive their current pay that effectively becomes a 25% increase. Apple pledges that it will not increase the price of the products because of this.
