NetArt: Pushing Forward

I'm a big fan of NetArt being displayed at museums. True, NetArt really hasn't had the ability to truly mature of "withstand the test of time", but it is most definitely pertinent to the direction in which art is moving (or at least the digital branch of art). I also think it is essential to display these pieces for the same reason as any other piece of non-digital art – to be viewed and enjoyed by future generations. I've always been fascinated by jumbotrons and car show displays, long before museums started adding digital installations. But thankfully, they are becoming more and more prevalent in not only big city museum showings, but they are also popping up here and there in local museums as well!
